Warm white is the most-requested Christmas look in Sacramento, followed by multicolor that mimics old-fashioned C9 bulbs, and red-and-white candy cane stripes. Classic or color: picking your Christmas look

Most Christmas homes fall into two camps: classic warm white, or multi-color. Permanent lighting lets you have both. Many families run warm white through most of December, switch to red and green or multi-color for parties and Christmas Eve, and add a slow twinkle for the kids.

If you prefer a high-end look, warm white with a soft gold accent on the peaks is hard to beat. If you want the house to stand out, a red and green chase or candy-cane pattern gets noticed from the street.

Either way, there are no clips to climb up and attach, and no boxes of tangled lights in January. When the season ends, the house goes back to warm white or switches off.

Booking ahead

Fall is our busiest time. If you want permanent lights up for Christmas, booking in late summer or early fall gives you the best choice of dates. Installs booked earlier in the year also give you Halloween and Thanksgiving with the same system.
